Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Crossland Creative LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit ithil.software or use the Ithil MCP Gateway software.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

• Email address — when you join the waitlist, request a free non-commercial license key, or purchase a commercial license.
• Payment information — collected and processed by our payment processor. We never see or store your card details. We receive your email address and subscription status from the payment processor after a successful purchase.
• License key records — we store the license key we issue to you, your email address, and the tier (non-commercial or commercial) associated with it.
• Analytics — we use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track individuals, and does not collect personal data. No consent banner is required.

We do not use tracking pixels, third-party advertising cookies, or session recording tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate and deliver your license key via email
• To notify waitlist members when Ithil is available
• To manage your subscription and process payments
• To respond to support requests
• To understand aggregate traffic patterns on our site

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate ithil.software:

• Supabase — database storage for license records and waitlist. Data is stored in the United States.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for license keys and waitlist confirmations.
• Paddle— our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, who processes all payments for commercial licenses. Buyer data shared with us by Paddle is used solely for order fulfillment and support, not marketing. Subject to Paddle's own Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — website hosting and privacy-first analytics.

Each of these services is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We select services that take data protection seriously.

4. Data Retention

• License records — kept for as long as your license is active. Deleted within 90 days of cancellation or a verified deletion request.
• Waitlist emails — deleted after launch notifications are sent, or immediately upon request.
• Payment records — retained as required by applicable law and our payment processor.

5. Your Rights

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database storage, and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

7. Children's Privacy

Ithil is a developer tool intended for professional use. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to active license holders.
